New ebook series: Fruithills Suspense Series

At last it's Autumn, and the weather is cooling things down a little, before they heat up for the Holiday Season. My 50th Anniversary Celebration at work was a wonderful event, with a company supplied catered meal from Papa Vino's (my favorite) for everyone at our Edison Lakes Site on Friday, October 14, two days before the official date of October 16.

Then it was hurry-up, catch-up to complete the first two books in my new Fruithills Suspense Series in time for Halloween readers. Both "An Old Flame," that is centered around a Halloween night ghostly encounter in Bristol's Oak Ridge Cemetery, and "Beckoning Bonneyville Mill," a ghostly story inspired by the oldest continuously operating mill in Indiana. Both are published at feedbooks.com and available for FREE download to your ereader or other device.

This new series will feature some of the spirit inhabited places in and around Washington Twp, Elkhart County Indiana, situated in the midst of the beautiful hilly landscape where early European settlers grew and shipped the plentiful apples, strawberries, melons and many other fruits by train to Chicago and beyond.

Sometimes considered a sleepy little community, lost in time, it harbors an interesting array of people, places and things that may or may not be real and may not always be what they seem.  Check back again soon for the next book in the series "Window into the Past," coming in November.
